RABBLE REVIEW No. 7

Where RR5 explored our relationships with others and RR6 delvedĀ deep into our relationships with work, RABBLE REVIEW No.7 examines our work/life imbalances, the sheer weight and strain of workaday subsistence. This year has seen workers in healthcare, fast-food, the auto industry, and Hollywood realize their collective power. Bodily autonomy continues to be attacked and the ever-worsening climate crisis reminds us time is running out. Western governments are actively supporting the genocide of Palestinians by Israel and it is all streamed directly to our phones.

From anxieties about precarious employment to the strains of unfulfilling work and stagnant wages, RR7 darts in and out of the experiences of the laboring multitude to ask: can we really blame anyone for wanting to rest on the sofa and escape into the sensational unreality of entertainment?
